One
of the attractions of the L’Argentiere B&B
is that it is located slightly outside the hustle and bustle
of the Tuscan capital’s central streets. Guests can
enjoy the spacious residential area that L’Argentiere’s
optimum position permits. Within the guesthouse complex there
is a large open air solarium terrace of 250 square metres
where guests can relax and recline, savouring the pleasant
Florentine spring evenings. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely
well kept garden with trees, shrubs, bushes and flowers creating
an amiable scent reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside.
The L’Argentiere residence has its
own dining room where breakfast is served during the cooler
winter season. During the warmer months - from March until
September, the terrace provides the ideal location to start
the day with a continental buffet breakfast. Guests can also
use the onsite barbecue if they wish.
Guests
arriving by car can leave it parked in the free private parking
area adjoining the residence. Surveillance cameras operate
within the site providing guests with extra peace of mind.
The residence offers general cleaning services with a laundry
room providing laundry and dry cleaning services and a daily
maid service. Guests have access to a personal computer, photocopier
and fax machine.
At the Florence L’Argentiere B&B
guests can take advantage of excellent discounted prices at
a nearby fitness centre. Other sports such as tennis, golf
and horse riding are also on offer close to the B&B.

The other various Florentine landmarks are not too far away either. The historic
centre is 5 minutes away. There you can savour the delights of the Renaissance
period: il Duomo – the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s
distinctive dome; the Church of the Santa Croce; works by Donatello,
Giotto, Michelangelo and Botticelli.
Separating the residence from the famous Ponte Vecchio is
the Garden of Boboli, a famous park home to a distinguished
collection of monuments and sculptures dating back to the sixteenth century.
Also look out for some Roman antiquities which can be seen in the garden.
