The L’Argentiere B&B Florence
prides itself on its very unique location: only 5 minutes
away from the centre but far from the hustle and bustle you
expect from the centre of the region’s capital city.
Immersed in the peace and tranquility associated with the
rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, guests are guaranteed
to be able to relax whole heartedly at the L’Argentiere
B&B. The residence is surrounded by a garden,
250 square metre open air solarium and a free private customer
car park. The guesthouse complex is found at Via G Borelli
8.
The L’Argentiere guest house is close
to Il Ponte Vecchio, the old bridge which leads guests
over the Arno River to the historical heart of Florence. There
visitors can experience the beauty produced from the cradle
of the Renaissance period: il Duomo, the cathedral that Brunelleschi
constructed and which has become the symbol of Florence recognised
the world over; Piazza della Signoría with the Fountain
of Neptune (still a functioning Roman aqueduct) and the Uffizi
Gallery, one of the most famous and oldest art galleries
in the world where the works of Donatello, Botticelli and
Michelangelo are housed.
Strolling form the L’Argentiere B&B
to the centre takes 20 minutes. However along the way guests
can appreciate the beauty of the Gardens of Boboli
where numerous sculptures and monuments are waiting to be
seen. The Palazzo Pitti is also an important monument which
is close to the hotel and contains part of the famous Medici
family’s former private collection. There are also pieces
by Raphael and Titian as well as many modern works of art.
